Loralee Burns

Growing up on a small farm in Maple Ridge, I’ve always loved all the things a country lifestyle has to offer. And even though life has taken me to different places with many unique experiences … including living the caravan lifestyle with my family in New Zealand…. there’s nothing like living on the island!

I remember purchasing my first home when I was 20, and I’ve loved real estate and interior design ever since. In fact, my husband and I have since bought, renovated, and sold multiple properties and have learned a lot about which jobs to tackle ... and when to hire a professional!

Having moved cities, provinces and countries - with family and animals in tow - I have tested my 'we can handle anything’ skills that I had learned in my previous career as a social worker. When I decided to take a step back from social work, transitioning to real estate felt like a natural fit. It allows me to combine my skills in communication, problem-solving, and guiding people through significant life transitions.

Over the years, I have learned a thing or two about the ins and outs of relocating personally and professionally. Whatever your lifestyle dreams and goals might be … I love what I do and I have the right experience, connections, and skills to help you get from where you are, to where you want to be.

Whenever you’re ready, let’s have a conversation and explore what moving would look like for you at this stage of your life and how my experience can help along the way.

Maegan Morton

Hi, I’m Maegan Morton, a lifelong Vancouver Islander and proud Vancouver Island University alumna. Growing up in Cedar, a small village near Nanaimo, I gained a deep appreciation for the unique charm and sense of community that makes Vancouver Island so special. With a background in Conveyancing and real estate team management, I bring both expertise and a personal touch to guide you through every detail of buying or selling your home with care and confidence.

When I’m not working with clients, I’m immersed in the beauty of Vancouver Island—exploring trails, gardening, doing yoga, or horseback riding with my family. I also enjoy restoring vintage Toyotas, channeling my love for precision and attention to detail into every project.

To me, real estate on Vancouver Island is about more than just properties—it’s about building relationships and creating trust. My mission is to make your experience seamless, stress-free, and enjoyable, tailoring my approach to meet your unique goals. Whether you’re seeking a cozy family home, a sprawling acreage, or an investment property, I’m here to help every step of the way.
